Almrose sits further into the Heutal than most of Unken's guesthouses, with parquet-floored family rooms looking out over the mountains and a genuine ski-to-door setup for the local slopes right around the property, separate from the main Loferer Almbahnen lift in Lofer itself. The restaurant serves Austrian cuisine in a traditional dining room, and a bar covers the evening for guests not heading out. A sun terrace and garden give somewhere to sit between runs, and free WiFi in the public areas keeps things connected without every room needing its own connection. This is Unken at its most rural, further from the village centre and closer to open mountain terrain than the other guesthouses nearby.
