This guesthouse sits inside the Chartreuse regional nature park, a limestone massif distinct from the Belledonne range where Les Sept Laux's own slopes rise, so a stay here is really a Chartreuse trip with an optional Les Sept Laux day tacked on rather than the reverse. The outdoor wooden hot tub looks out over forest rather than piste, and Champs Massot sits eight minutes' walk away for a change of scene. Free breakfast comes included, and the restaurant De la cuche à l'assiette is a short taxi ride out for dinner. Para quien busca un auténtico refugio en plena naturaleza de la Chartreuse, con una bañera de madera al aire libre y vistas al bosque, y ve el esquí en Les Sept Laux como una excursión aparte, a otro macizo. El desayuno incluido y el ritmo pausado encajan con un viaje tranquilo. Si tu plan gira ante todo en torno al esquí en Les Sept Laux, reserva mejor en el macizo de Belledonne, porque el trayecto entre ambos macizos lleva su tiempo.

Por qué encanta a los huéspedesVinimos tanto por las rutas de senderismo de la Chartreuse como por el esquí, y el jacuzzi exterior de madera con vistas al bosque fue lo mejor de todo el viaje. Encajar además un día en Les Sept Laux exigió organizarse, porque los dos macizos están a un buen trayecto en coche. Plantearlo como dos salidas separadas en lugar de un único viaje combinado acabó funcionando muy bien, y el desayuno incluido suma puntos.
