Hôtel La Perelle
About this hotel
The pitch here is simple: step out of La Perelle and the Grand Domaine slope is already under your skis, no shuttle, no walk in ski boots across the car park. Rooms look out over the mountains, and each one comes with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom stocked with bathrobes and free toiletries for the après-ski wind-down. That wind-down usually starts in the indoor heated pool, then the sauna, before dinner at the hotel's own restaurant, which sticks to Savoie regional cooking rather than a generic buffet. The terrace catches what sun there is between runs. Being in the station centre means the lift queue, the bakery and the ski hire desk are all a short walk rather than a drive, which matters most on the mornings when everyone else is still finding their gloves.
