Ormelune is a modern four-star in Val d'Isère very close to the slopes, so mornings start with a short walk rather than a bus. Rooms look over the mountains or the village, the spa covers tired legs, and the restaurant cooks contemporary French cuisine before a drink in the bar. Ski storage is on site. I would book it for couples or families who want a contemporary feel in a classic resort. An 8.8 from 115 guests is very good.
