La merenda del ristorante e la cena austriaca tradizionale sapevano davvero di cucina di casa, non di un menu d'hotel ripetuto ogni sera. Cenare all'aperto sulla terrazza in un pomeriggio limpido, circondati dalle montagne, ha trasformato le piccole dimensioni della struttura in un vantaggio. Le camere con balcone sono un plus.

Essere nel cuore del paese di Unken permetteva di risolvere tutto a piedi, da una dimenticanza a un caffè serale. La sauna è diventata la chiusura della giornata una volta sistemati i bambini. Dall'Almrose ci sono circa 700 m fino alla partenza del Wildalmlift I, quindi i piccoli sciatori andranno a piedi o in auto fino all'impianto. Dopo la manovia, il Wildalmlift I è il primo vero skilift; il Gimpinglift e il Sattelkurvenlift partono più in alto. La locanda offre camere familiari, un parco giochi e un ristorante austriaco, quindi la sera nessuno deve riprendere l'auto.
