A fondue delivery service sits a five-minute walk away, which says something about the neighborhood's priorities in winter. Dogs are welcome, and the whole property leans toward travelers who want an unpretentious alpine inn over a polished resort hotel.

Per chi confronta le piccole stazioni di Belledonne e accetta che l'impianto raggiungibile sia Cap 2000, non Les Sept Laux. La sauna e il ristorante informale ne fanno una tappa comoda dopo una giornata all'aperto. Chi vuole sciare partendo direttamente dagli impianti di Les Sept Laux prenoti piuttosto a Prapoutel o al Pipay, perché a piedi da qui si arriva su un'altra montagna.

Perché piace agli ospitiAbbiamo prenotato l'Auberge du Virage senza capire subito che Cap 2000 e Les Sept Laux sono due partenze degli impianti diverse nello stesso massiccio, e abbiamo dovuto ripensare le giornate sugli sci. Una volta organizzati, le camere rivestite in legno e la sauna hanno reso il soggiorno davvero accogliente, e la fonduta a domicilio lì vicino ci ha risolto più di una cena. Portare il cane senza alcuna complicazione al check-in è stato un vero vantaggio.
