Le Comptoir de Tigmi is two minutes' walk away for an easy dinner out. Breakfast comes included rather than bolted on as a paid extra, which is rarer among the properties covered here. This works best as a staging point, a comfortable valley base the night before or after a ski day, rather than a stay built around walking straight onto the slopes each morning.

Per chi vuole una base più tranquilla a fondovalle, con giardino e piscina, e non si preoccupa di salire in auto agli impianti di Les Sept Laux ogni giorno. Funziona molto bene anche fuori stagione sciistica, quando la piscina diventa l'attrattiva principale e non un semplice extra. Chi vuole ridurre al minimo il tragitto verso le piste ogni mattina prenoti piuttosto a Prapoutel o al Pipay.

Perché piace agli ospitiL'abbiamo usato come base per una settimana di gite giornaliere a Les Sept Laux, e il giardino faceva sì che il rientro serale sembrasse una vera pausa e non solo un posto per dormire. La colazione inclusa, e non a pagamento come in altri posti che avevamo valutato, ha contato più del previsto su un'intera settimana. La piscina è stata usata più del previsto, soprattutto perché dopo la strada su e giù tutti volevano solo stare fermi.
