The Bormio 2000 cable car is about 300 metres away and the centre a short walk, so we never needed the car. The heated ski storage meant warm boots every morning, a small luxury with kids. Dinners featured regional cooking, our mountain-view room was cosy, and the spa was a lovely end to the day. A 9.7 for good reason.
