Neuwirt sits about as close to the lifts as a guesthouse gets in Lofer: two minutes from the Lofer Bergbahnen ski lift, with a restaurant and bar on site for evenings that don't need a walk into town at all. Every unit has a balcony with mountain views and cable TV, and private bathrooms come fitted with a hairdryer as standard. Beyond the slopes, hiking trails run through the surrounding terrain and the Pillersee lake sits ten kilometres away for a change of scene on a rest day away from the mountain.
