Bettmerhof sits at 1,957 metres in car-free Bettmeralp, and the Matterhorn view from many balconies is the reason to choose it. Spacious alpine-style rooms were renovated in 2014, and two restaurants, a wellness area and a children's playroom make it easy for families to stay put after skiing. I would request a Matterhorn-facing room and plan a quiet, self-contained week. A 9.1 from 114 guests is excellent for a three-star superior.
