Domitys Le Parc de Jade is a senior residence, and it turned out to be a calm, comfortable choice when we travelled with my parents. Our one-bedroom apartment had a full kitchen, a dining area and a private bathroom, so we could cook and eat together at our own pace. The mountain views over Albertville were lovely, the continental breakfast was a nice option, and free WiFi worked well. Quiet and well kept.

Fasthotel Albertville was a no-frills, budget stop that worked well for our family on the way to the Savoie resorts, about 30 minutes' drive away. It's next to the Olympic Park and five minutes from the N90, so we were on the road early each morning. Free parking and WiFi were included, the room had mountain views, and they even accepted our dog. Basic, clean and exactly what we needed for the price.

Hôtel Le Savoie was a simple, convenient base in Albertville for our family. We had a family room with a private bathroom with a bath, which the kids loved after cold days out, and a flat-screen TV for winding down. Private parking and free WiFi made logistics easy.
