Hotels in Greifenburg

Greifenburg, set in the Drau Valley of Carinthia, Austria, offers a charming base for winter sports enthusiasts. While not a large ski resort itself, its strategic location provides easy access to several family-friendly ski areas nearby. Visitors can enjoy a tranquil alpine atmosphere, traditional Austrian hospitality, and a range of activities beyond skiing, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful winter escape with diverse options.

Hotel Rossmann

Greifenburg

Family rooms, Austrian cuisine, and a sunny terrace

Why guests love it
Hotel Rossmann is the traditional family base I recommend in Greifenburg for families who want a relaxed village hotel rather than a ski-resort address. Family rooms have balconies and private bathrooms, and the restaurant serves Austrian cuisine with options for various dietary needs. A garden and sun terrace give children space outdoors, there is a bar for the evening, and free WiFi covers the whole hotel. My advice: plan your ski days by car, as the hotel is not slopeside.
