Chalet living with glacier views in a pedestrian village

Why guests love it

Our chalet at Chez Philippe's Panoramic Village was one of 17 in a pedestrian complex, so the kids could play outside safely. The south-facing living room looked straight at the glaciers, and the panoramic terrace was our favourite spot for breakfast in the sun. The fully equipped kitchen meant we cooked relaxed family dinners after skiing. Private, peaceful and with views you'll never forget. Perfect for families.

Chalet comfort, glacier views, and a wellness retreat

Why guests love it

Panoramic Village gave us our own chalet with a fireplace and a view of the Meije Glacier that left us speechless every morning. Being in a pedestrian complex meant the kids could roam safely between chalets. Evenings by the fire were magical, and the wellness centre with hot tub and sauna was the perfect end to big days in La Grave. The reception chalet's bar was a cosy meeting spot. In summer there's a pool too. Unique.

Chalet charm in a medieval village with mountain views

Why guests love it

Auberge Edelweiss is a former coach inn in the heart of La Grave's medieval village, and its chalet-inspired decor felt warm and characterful. Our room had mountain views that were simply stunning. The buffet breakfast set us up well for the day, and dinners in the restaurant used seasonal produce that tasted wonderful. The panoramic terrace and bar were lovely for an afternoon drink. A charming, authentic base for families.
