Der Trattner - Hotel Trattnerhof & Hotel Schöcklblick

Semriach

Rural retreat with indoor pool, sauna, and sports facilities

Why guests love it

Der Trattner is a quiet rural retreat 1 km from the centre of Semriach, and it kept our whole family busy. The kids loved the indoor pool, and the indoor tennis court and heated archery hall were unexpected hits with our teenagers. We unwound in the Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. Our room had cable TV, a private bathroom and a balcony. The restaurant made dinners easy. Great for active families.

Hotel Semriacherhof

Semriach

Alpine comfort, fine dining, and family-friendly amenities

Why guests love it

Hotel Semriacherhof is in Semriach, about 25 km from Graz, so I would treat it as a quiet countryside base rather than a ski hotel. What makes it suit families is concrete: a playground and child care on site, plus an apartment alongside the standard rooms. The restaurant serves refined cuisine, there is a sun terrace, massages are available and Wi-Fi is free. My advice: plan a car for reaching the slopes. Guests rate it 8.4 across 222 reviews.
