Chalet La Colombiere sits a three-minute walk from the Ecole de Ste Agnes, close enough to the Les Sept Laux area that the dedicated ski storage room actually earns its keep rather than sitting empty. Boards, boots and poles stay off the chalet floor and out of the cold overnight, which shaves real time off the morning routine. The outdoor pool and garden terrace give the afternoons somewhere to go once the boots come off, and the valley views from the chalet-style rooms are the kind that a straightforward hotel room rarely offers. Dogs are welcome throughout. This is a small, cozy B&B rather than a full-service hotel, built around comfort and genuine chalet character over amenities.

Familien und Paare passen gut zum entspannten, häuslichen Tempo, und durch die Nähe zu Les Sept Laux ist der Skiraum wirklich nützlich. Wer Restaurant, Spa oder Platz für eine große Gruppe braucht, bucht besser ein größeres Haus, denn dieses bleibt bewusst klein, ganz im Stil einer Pension.

Warum Gäste es liebenDer Skiraum hat uns noch vor allem anderen überzeugt, und er war genauso praktisch wie erhofft: keine nassen Skischuhe mehr, die man jeden Abend aufs Zimmer schleppt. Der Talblick aus unserem Zimmer war das, was wir am meisten fotografiert haben, mehr als jeden Pistentag bei der École de Ste Agnès. Es ist ein kleines B&B statt eines großen Hotels, und diese Nähe passte besser zu uns als vierköpfiger Familie.
