Dietrichshorn is Unken at its smallest and most local: a handful of rooms with balconies and mountain views, a hairdryer and shower rather than a full spa list, and a traditional Austrian restaurant that serves lunch, dinner and high tea to a small, familiar crowd of regulars and guests alike. A continental breakfast with juice, pastries, cheese and fruit starts the day, and the sun terrace and garden give a spot to sit before or after transferring out to Lofer for the lifts. Outdoor dining extends the terrace into mealtimes when the weather allows it. This is a guesthouse built for a handful of guests rather than a full hotel operation with a large staff.
