Our take
Le Hameau Albert 1er is an excellent choice for couples and families seeking a high-end ski holiday with exceptional amenities. The spa, pools, and gourmet dining options provide a luxurious escape after a day on the slopes. The complimentary ski shuttle and storage are practical touches for avid skiers. Those looking for a budget-friendly option or a very lively, central party atmosphere might find it less suitable, as the focus here is on refined relaxation and service.

Why we love it
- Luxurious spa and wellness centre
- Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
- Complimentary shuttle to ski slopes
- Two distinct gourmet restaurants
Why guests love itThis was our big treat trip and it delivered. The free shuttle to the slopes took all the stress out of mornings, and we left skis in the storage room so the rooms stayed calm. The kids swam in the indoor pool every afternoon and we tried the outdoor one too, then unwound in the spa. With two restaurants on site we never had to bundle tired children out again in the cold for dinner.
