Hotel Baita Dei Pini is a four-star in Bormio with a spa, a pool, a fitness centre and alpine-style rooms, a short walk from the historic centre, the lifts and the thermal baths. A free shuttle to the lifts runs on request, and there is ski storage. I would book it for a family ski week with spa evenings. A 9.1 from 1,760 guests is a very large sample.

Why guests love itWith two kids, the pool and jacuzzi were what sold Baita Dei Pini to us, and they used them every single afternoon. The ski lifts, historic centre and thermal baths are all a short walk, and when legs were tired we asked for the free shuttle to the lifts. Our alpine-style room had mountain views and felt warm after cold days. Ski storage kept the corridor clear, and the spa gave us parents a quiet hour too.
