Auberge Nemoz trades ski-lift proximity for a genuinely rural setting: a garden property with its own trout pond and stables, five minutes' walk from Gite of Martinette and eight from La Martinette itself. The hot tub and spa give the property a wellness angle that most guesthouses this size don't attempt, and the restaurant and bar downstairs cover most evenings without needing to drive anywhere. This works best as a countryside retreat within the wider Belledonne foothills, a place to unwind rather than a base built around the shortest possible walk to the Les Sept Laux pistes. Dogs are welcome throughout, fitting naturally with a property that already keeps horses.

Voor wie een landelijk gastenverblijf met karakter, hottub en spa zoekt en het niet erg vindt om met de auto naar de liften van Les Sept Laux te rijden. De forellenvijver en de stallen geven het een landelijke charme die geen hotel in het skioord kan nabootsen. Wie elke ochtend te voet naar de piste wil, boekt beter in Prapoutel of bij Pipay.

Waarom gasten het geweldig vindenWe boekten Auberge Nemoz in de verwachting van een eenvoudig gastenhuis en waren verrast door het karakter dat de forellenvijver en de stallen eraan geven. Het ligt niet vlak bij de liften van Les Sept Laux, dus we planden de extra rijtijd vanaf het begin in onze skidagen in. De hot tub 's avonds werd bijna elke dag het hoogtepunt, en aan het eind van de week praatten de kinderen meer over de stallen dan over het skiën.
